美國職棒大聯盟(MLB)再度傳出選手使用禁藥的醜聞。聖路易紅雀(St. Louis Cardinals)的前捕手、現在是自由球員的史丹利(Cody Stanley)因再度被檢驗出服用禁藥，被處以最嚴厲的162場禁賽。

今年27歲的史丹利是大聯盟新秀，上一個球季效力於紅雀隊。他被檢驗出使用類固醇禁藥「dehydrochlormethyltestosterone」。這種藥物可以提升球員的速度和體能。

在去年的大聯盟菜鳥季，他總共出賽蹲捕9場，10次打擊擊出4支安打。他在去年9月被檢驗出服用禁藥，被禁賽80場。

不過在透過大聯盟工會發表的聲明中，史丹利強調自己的清白，絕對沒有服用禁藥。他說：「我絕對不會為我沒做過的事道歉，並將繼續調查這一切到底是怎麼發生的。」

為了杜絕禁藥，大聯盟在2014年修改規定，把禁賽場次從100場增加到整個球季的162場。
